Fan Palm on Canvas – Original Painting

Fan Palm on Canvas features the broad, pleated fronds of a fan palm in layered greens. I grew up in south Texas, and while it's not officially tropical, the weather stayed warm enough most of the year that my parents filled the yard with tropical-style landscaping — fan palms included. They didn't always survive the winter, but they'd go dormant and spring back with new leaves once it warmed up again.

At 6x6 inches, this original is small enough to fit just about anywhere, from a bookshelf to a gallery wall. Group it with other pieces from the collection for a look that feels collected over time, or let it add a pop of color on its own.

Artful Styling Guide

• The Plant Shelf Pairing: Display it beside real houseplants on an open shelf for a layered, collected look.
• Kitchen Open Shelf: Tuck it between dishware and cookbooks on an open kitchen shelf for a pop of color.
• Staircase Gallery: Add it to a staircase gallery wall for a quieter, more textural note among larger pieces.
