Banana Leaf on Canvas – Original Painting

Banana Leaf on Canvas features a single large banana leaf in rich green, its long ribbed shape filling the canvas edge to edge. When I was growing up, my family planted banana trees in our backyard around the swimming pool. One year, after surviving a cold winter, they actually grew a few little bananas — I'd never seen bananas anywhere other than the grocery store, so I remember thinking it was the coolest thing ever.

At 6x6 inches, this original is small enough to fit just about anywhere, from a bookshelf to a gallery wall. Group it with other pieces from the collection for a look that feels collected over time, or let it add a pop of color on its own.

Artful Styling Guide

• The Plant Shelf Pairing: Display it beside real houseplants on an open shelf for a layered, collected look.
• Gallery Wall Anchor: Use this piece as a grounding centerpiece in a gallery wall of mixed sizes and frames.
