The Story Behind the Painting

October is my favorite month because it's my birthday month, and I love celebrating so much that I celebrate the whole month. There are always plans with family and friends, but I also have a little ritual just for me. At the start of every October, I buy myself a bottle of Champagne, a bouquet of flowers, and a cupcake or two. Bubbles, flowers, and something sweet make me happy every single time.

So many of us wait for someone else to make us feel special. We save the Champagne for a big occasion and wait for flowers to show up at the door. This painting is my gentle reminder to stop waiting. Pop the bubbly. Buy yourself the bouquet. Celebrate you. Life's too short to save the good stuff.
